Robert Vasilieff, CLT –  Vice President, Project Manager
B.S. Environmental Horticulture Science /Landscape Industry Certified
Robert graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture Science in 2010. At Cal Poly, some of his specialties were in California Native Plants and Landscape Design. Robert is certified as a Recycled Water Site Supervisor to aid in the service to our customers who utilize recycled water systems. Aside from recycled water certification, Robert obtained in 2011 two of the Landscape Industry Certificates (LIC) in Ornamental Maintenance and Irrigation Installation. Additionally, he is certified in CPR/First Aid.Â
Greg Vasilieff – President
Greg Vasilieff led Western Gardens Landscaping, Inc. as President from day one in 1984. Over 40 years, Greg has kept WGL, Inc. at the forefront of sustainable water management and tolerant plant selection in Mediterranean climates like that of San Diego County.
Greg Vasilieff is a professional irrigation consultant, a CLCA-certified water manager, and an EPA water sense partner.
Marie Vasilieff – Business Operations Manager and CFO
Marie oversees the Accounting, Human Resources, and Safety Training, as well as the business's day-to-day operations. She obtained several certifications over the years from UCLA for Identifying and Preventing Workplace Injury and Illness of Groundskeepers and training.
